This healthy flourless banana pancakes recipe is a staple in our house. They’re made from only 4 ingredients and don’t include any added sugar or flour.
I’ve been making them for myself for years and now my little one requests them weekly! These are so quick and easy to make and you can eat them guilt-free.
I have many fond childhood memories of dancing around the kitchen with my mom, singing into our microphones made of kitchen utensils, and cooking pancakes. This was a weekend tradition in our house that I always knew I wanted to recreate for my own family one day.
However, as a health-conscious person, I don’t cook classic pancakes which are loaded with empty calories and sugar.
These healthy banana pancakes are the perfect alternative!
My patients frequently ask me which diet I follow and which diet is the best.
I don’t conform to one particular diet and I don’t encourage others to either. The term “diet” implies a temporary fix rather than a permanent way of life.
Instead of “dieting”, I practice eating mindfully and clean.
I am conscious of the ingredients in the foods I eat and aim to eat nutrient-dense foods. I try to minimize the amount of processed and pre-packaged foods that I eat including refined sugar and flour.

Let’s Make Some Pancakes!
It’s so easy to make these banana pancakes and they contain only 4 ingredients- banana, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon! They don’t include any flour, sugar, or gluten so they are great for adults and babies alike.
These pancakes are a perfect finger food for babies learning to self-feed and for toddlers learning to use their fork.
Some fun add-ins for this recipe are walnuts, cacao powder for a chocolatey taste, or a tablespoon of old fashioned oats to thicken them up a little bit.
We typically stick to the recipe as is because they’re so delicious and so simple! As for serving size, I usually only give my toddler 1/2 a batch at a time, but I eat the whole batch.
As Jack Johnson says, “let’s make you banana pancakes, and pretend like it’s the weekend now”!

Healthy Flourless Banana Pancakes Recipe
- 1 medium ripe banana
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- Heat large frying pan over medium heat. Add a tablespoon of coconut oil or butter
- Mash banana with a fork
- Beat eggs and stir into bananas. Stir in vanilla and cinnamon into banana mixture
- Pour batter into frying pan and cook for approximately 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Serve as is or add a little maple syrup for extra sweetnessEnjoy!
